Spinning and circling, a form of high life – of whirling devotion and faithful unfolding. A means of extending itself in time, resonating as an experimental individual. The Airtight Garage is a publishing project dedicated to the production and distribution of cannabis seeds. Established in 2020, it seeks to preserve old genetic lines while working on new lines of its own that expand the current field. By tying the project to the multifaceted legacies of underground cannabis growers, seed collectors and artist’s multiples and editions, the hope is to engage a wide ranging audience who can help keep the commons open and to cultivate new work that might not find a welcoming port elsewhere. |
